Despite the recent troubles in the truck market, it's not all bad news - especially for Ford and its all-new 2009 Ford F-150. The redesigned truck has been scooping up awards by the bed full since its recent introduction. The new F-150 has improved its fuel economy by an average of 8% across its entire lineup, while the fuel-conscious SFE package helps the full-size pickup deliver fuel economy of 15 city/21 highway. Ford's high-volume 5.4L V-8 gets 12% better fuel economy than the previous generation engine.
And of course, Ford has not forgotten the main reason most trucks are bought. The F-150 delivers a towing capability of 11,300 lbs and hauling capacity of 3030 lbs.
