Toyota has released pricing information for its highly-anticipated Venza crossover, with a starting MSRP of $25,975 for the four-cylinder, front-wheel drive variant. The top-level V-6, all-wheel-drive Venza will begin at $29,250. Toyota did not list any applicable destination charges which likely will be in addition to the MSRPs listed.

Toyota will offer all-wheel drive optionally with both I-4 and V-6 models, while the same transmission is used for both engines - a six-speed automatic. Toyota lists standard equipment on all Venza models as including cruise control, fog lamps, tilt/telescoping steerig column, dual-zone climate control, HomeLink, a six-disc CD changer with XM satellite radio capability, power windows with auto up/down, active front headrests, and a rear spoiler. Four-cylinder Venzas will get 19-in. wheels as standard, while V-6 models receive 20-inchers.

Optional equipment includes HID headlamps with auto high beam, a panoramic moonroof, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, Smart Key keyless entry, a multi-information display and navigation system, and leather interior. Toyota is marketing a host of pet-friendly options to Venza shoppers, including a rear hatch pet ramp, booster seat with harness, and waterproof seat covers designed to serve soggy dog duty.

Toyota will bring only V-6 versions of the Venza to U.S. showrooms initially, with deliveries to start in early December. The four-cylinder model will follow shortly after in January.
