Land Rover Range Rover Kahn Cosworth Sport 300

Earlier this year, engine specialist Cosworth and British tuner Project Kahn partnered up to develop a range of new modified vehicles, and their first creation is set to bow at the upcoming 2008 MPH event in the United Kingdom. A Land Rover Range Rover Sport was customized to become the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300, and the custom SUV features some minor engine modifications and styling changes.

The base 3.6L V-8 turbodiesel engine was bumped up from 268 hp to 300, giving it a 0-to-62-mph time of about 8 sec and a top speed of 135 mph. The regular Range Rover Sport has a 0-to-62-mph time of about 8.6 sec and a top speed of 130 mph.

Styling changes were made to the exterior and the interior of the luxury SUV. New bodywork include new spoilers in the front and rear, flared wheelarches, and new 22-in. deep-dish aluminum alloy wheels riding on 285 size tires. Underhood is a new carbon-fiber engine cover. The interior gets new features including twin Alpine LCD screens hooked up to front and rear parking cameras, a Phillips cordless phone, iPod connectivity, aluminum foot pedals, Nappa leather, stainless-steel doorsill plates with an engraved Cosworth logo, and an Alcantara-laced steering wheel.

The Kahn Cosworth upgrade starts at approximately $33,743 for the package alone.
