2009 Subaru Tribeca Special Edition pricing announced

Subaru's counter to an ultra-competitive market segment has yielded their new value-oriented 2009 {{{Tribeca}}} Special Edition model. The Special Edition models feature standard equipment packages at a discounted price to encourage sales and give Subaru a competitive advantage in moving their SUVs. The Tribeca Special Editions will come in 5- and 7-passenger editions.
Standard equipment on both edition SUVs include leather seating surfaces, rear air conditioning, heated front seats, 2-position Memory Driver's seat, and an upgraded 160-watt audio system which includes a 6-disc in-dash CD Changer, 8 speakers, and a rear subwoofer.
The 7-passenger Tribeca features all these amenities except for the rear cabin air conditioning. The 5-passenger Tribeca retails for $31,295 due to a $1,400 discount, and the 7-passenger Tribeca is competitively priced at $31,595 with a $1,600 discount.
