The Saturn Vue was completely redesigned for 2008. The 2009 Vue Hybrid provides consumers with a more affordable hybrid option that also provides fuel savings and uncompromised utility. Rated equivalent to an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV), the Vue Hybrid produces 172 horsepower and 167 lb.-ft. of torque. The Vue Hybrid achieves EPA fuel economy of 25 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. Highway driving range is 585 miles on a single tank of fuel. As the Vue Hybrid shares an exterior design similar to the other Vue models, new "Hybrid" decals on the upper windshield, rear window and doors add to its visual differentiation.

2009 Saturn Vue 2 Mode Hybrid
For 2009 the Saturn Vue 2 Mode Hybrid will be the second hybrid model in the Vue family and will go into production in late 2008. It is expected to be the world's most fuel-efficient V-6 SUV, providing an estimated 50-percent increase in fuel economy compared to the non-hybrid Vue XR. The 2009 Vue is available in XE and XR models, as well as the Red Line model. In addition to the new 2 Mode Hybrid, Saturn offers a Vue Hybrid model that features the affordable GM Hybrid System.
New exterior colors include Quicksilver, Gold Mist, Aquamarine and Chili Pepper Red.
