Earlier this year, Navistar refiled its breach of contract suit, originally filed in June 2007, against Ford. Navistar believes an existing agreement says Navistar would be the exclusive supplier of diesel engines for Ford pickups sold in North America, and Ford's intention to use a Land Rover-derived 4.4-liter diesel V-8 in North American-model 2009 or 2010 F-150s violates that agreement. Nothing like having future product plans aired in court.
