The Escalade packs a wallop with 364 cu in. of old-fashioned Corvette-derived pushrod V-8 hellfire. With 345 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque on tap, the Escalade was a second quicker to 60 mph and the quarter mile than the Navigator. Not bad for a near-3-ton vehicle.
