Buick has announced pricing for its new 2008 {{{Enclave}}} crossover, scheduled to arrive in dealerships this summer.

The base model Enclave CX with front-wheel drive will sticker at $32,790, while the all-wheel drive version will be exactly $2,000 more at $34,790. Standard equipment on the base model includes a 275 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, Xenon high-intensity headlamps, heated exterior mirrors, power liftgate, automatic climate control, and keyless entry.

The deluxe Enclave CXL version starts at $34,990 for front-wheel drive and adding all-wheel drive, again, costs an even $2,000 more, for a total of $36,990. Unfortunately, Buick has yet to release what exactly is deluxe about the CXL.

Optional extras include a rear-seat DVD system, voice-activated navigation including a backup camera, a heavy-duty towing package, 18-inch wheels for the CX version, and 19-inch wheels for the CXL.

The Enclave is priced a slightly higher than rival crossovers such as the Ford Edge or Mazda CX-7, reflecting Buick's roots in the luxury arena.
