Truck Trend News: V-8 Ridgeline?

Honda is rumored to be testing a new aluminum-block V-8 for the Ridgeline, possibly 4.2 to 4.4 liters in size, with VTEC and cylinder shutoff. Honda also is adding the engine to the next-generation Ridgeline, slated for 2011 as a 2012 model. There could also be a V-6 turbodiesel for the Ridgeline and Pilot SUV, as well as a possible hybrid Ridgeline for the 2009 model year.
