After compiling the list "Why Full-Size Trucks Are Useless in L.A.," associate Web producer Carlos Lago left the City of Angels and discovered that the F-150 is anything but useless.

"Five full- and medium-size adults fit in the cabin, and three can sit across the back seat without touching knees or elbows. My 84-year-old granddad found the doors a little heavy, but loved the truck, saying he preferred its seats to any furniture in his house. My mom, who was somewhat sticker-shocked by our tester's price, began to deduct options to move the truck within her budget. The nav's clarity and the SYNC system impressed everyone (though there are multiple artists on my iPod that SYNC refuses to recognize), as did the tailgate step, which made climbing into the bed easy for my granddad."
