2010 Audi Q7 Available From $47,725 Starting Next Month

Audi announced pricing for the updated 2010 Q7 SUV today, and buyers holding out for the fresh looks and updated MMI will be paying a premium. The 2010 Audi Q7 will start at $47,725 including $825 delivery charge.

That's right, if you want to slide behind the wheel of a new Q7, you'll have to pony up an extra $3,400 over the 2009 model's asking price. And that's just for the base model with the 3.6L V-6. The 3.0L TDI diesel remains unchanged starting at $51,725, but the 4.2L V-8 climbs about $1,000 to $61,825.

Most of that extra cost will go towards the Q7's nose job, which features an even bolder grille with new vertical chrome bars. Flanking it are new headlights featuring even more of Audi's signature LEDs that serve as Daytime Running lights. The slightly re-sculpted rear end tells a similar story with its new LED tail lights.

Inside, the Q7 gets an even more luxurious interior with new leather, new chrome and wood trim, ambient lighting, and optional heated and cooled seats. The centerpiece, of course, is the latest version of Audi's intuitive MMI interface that features 3D navigation, Sirius Traffic, and a new voice-recognition system that recognizes phrases like "I'm hungry" and "I need gas."

If you're ready with cash in hand, you'll need to wait just a few more weeks before you can pick up your new Q7, as the 2010 model won't hit Audi dealers until September 2009.
