Audi's 2009 Q5 Earns IIHS "Top Safety Pick" Designation

Audi's just-released 2009 {{{Q5}}} crossover has earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) 2009 Top Safety Pick designation by achieving 'good' ratings on all three crash test measurements.
The ratings include results from side, front offset, and rear impact tests.
The federally operated National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) similarly rated the Q5 with its 'five-star' award in driver and passenger frontal crash tests. It also garnered the same title for its front and rear protection during side impacts.
All Audi Q5's come standard with four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, electronic stability program, daytime running lights, tire pressure monitoring system, and Quattro all-wheel drive.
