Cadillac has earned AutoPacific's top customer satisfaction honor for the second straight year in the research firm's 13th Annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.
The brand has scored in the top five for the past 13 years. In the VSA, new car buyers are questioned in regards to how well they've been satisfied with their newly leased or purchased vehicles. More than 25,000 participants this year bought or leased their cars during the fourth quarter of 2008.
"Cadillac is extremely proud of this award since it is based on the real experiences of new vehicle buyers," said Mark McNabb, vice president Cadillac. "This feedback from actual owners underscores our commitment to excellence in product and customer service."
Hyundai also made a showing and jumped 11 spots compared to the prior year. The brand also earned a higher position in 40 of the 48 categories buyers were asked to rate.
Top truck or SUV honors went to the Cadillac Escalade.
