"While the seats were cooling my backside, I noted the F-150's overall quietness," notes associate Web producer Nate Martinez. "A majority of exterior noise and tire drone is suppressed in the F-150, unlike in my brother's Chevy Silverado, which jounces over bumps and has numerous squeaks and squawks." Additional pros? "The Ford rides abnormally smooth for a full-size rig, and the interior storage space particularly the cavernous center armrest bin is respectable, as are the wood trim and handsome seat stitching. The many cubbies, cupholders, and bins contribute to the cabin's utility and comfort, while the Sony stereo provides loud and clear road-trip entertainment." At 7500 miles, the F-150 went in for its first service, a $48.21 oil change, inspection, and tire rotation.
