Marc Burnett continued his winning ways as he claimed victory in the Class 6 Mini Trophy Truck division at the 23rd annual SCORE San Felipe 250 with a winning time of 5:25:20. Both a motorcycle and Class 6 champion in the Baja 1000, Burnett also carries two motorcycle championships from the Baja 500. He also took 2nd place in the Terrible's 250 and 3rd place in the Parker 425. Burnett's Baja 1000 Class 6 championship came just a couple months ago.
Despite the demanding nature of off-road endurance races, Burnett was able to pilot his Ford Ranger to victory singlehandedly, just as he did in last year's Baja 1000. Given his two-for-two record with the Ranger, Burnett expects to continue driving solo and "Iron-man" his way to more victories.
