The first Alabama-built Honda Ridgeline trucks came off their new assembly lines a little after 6 p.m. on February 16, which followed with a brief celebration by the Honda factory workers who were present for the event. Now built at Honda's plant in Lincoln, Alabama, the Ridgeline is assembled in the same location as the Pilot crossover SUV and Odyssey minivan. Lincoln is the only location where these three vehicles are produced. The three vehicles use a common architecture and 3.5L V-6 engine.

The Ridgeline has been built at the Alliston Auto Plant in Alliston, Ontario, Canada since its introduction in March 2005. The movement of the Ridgeline's production from Alliston to Lincoln marked the first time Honda has transferred production of an existing model between two North American plants. The Alliston location is now seeing increased production of the Honda Civic.
